Samira Black Samira Black

Welcome to My Writing Corner

Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here.

This little corner of my website exists for the in-between moments. The ones that don’t always make it into polished announcements or neat summaries. It’s a place for unfinished thoughts, quiet reflections, and the ongoing process of becoming a writer in public and in private.

I write as Samira Black, but if you’re here, you can call me Sam. I’m a fantasy writer who takes the work seriously, even while still being very much on the way. I care deeply about stories and the people who find themselves inside them, but I also believe the creative process should leave room for curiosity, warmth, and the occasional moment of silliness. This blog isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about showing up honestly and letting things unfold as they will.

Right now, my stories are still finding their path into the world. They’re being written, revised, questioned, reshaped, and loved fiercely along the way. This space isn’t a countdown clock or a highlight reel. It’s a companion to the journey. A place where I can share what it looks like to keep going, even when the path is winding and the destination isn’t fully visible yet.

Here, you’ll find thoughts on writing and creativity, glimpses behind the scenes, reflections on the process, and moments that don’t quite fit anywhere else. Some posts will be thoughtful. Some may be lighter. All of them will be real. This isn’t a place for hustle or performance. It’s a place for connection.

You don’t need to be a writer to be here. You don’t need to know my work yet. This space is for readers, dreamers, fellow creatives, and anyone who enjoys peeking behind the curtain and seeing the human side of a creative life.

Thank you for spending a little time here with me. I hope this writing corner becomes a place you return to when you want a glimpse into me, my process, and the person behind the stories as they’re still taking shape. However long you stay, I’m glad you found your way in.

Until the next page, Sam.
